You will be leaving at 11:15 am from your period 5 class (adjusted schedule given Ash Wednesday mass)

Before school, drop off your bags in my room Parents will arrive at 11:30 am to transport

us to the Radisson (NO student drivers!) Drivers: Mrs. Drollette, Mrs. LeBeau, Mrs.

opening ceremony and role-plays(two blouses, stockings, knee length skirt, closed toed shoes)

Pick up is Friday at 11:00 am from Radisson hotel entrance – be respectful of chaperones – must be picked up by parent!

Not expected to return to school that day

LEADERSHIP ACADEMIES

Opportunity to meet new friends – enjoyable, entertaining, and beneficial – it is what you make of it

Leadership Academies – required to attend 4 of 5 that are offered – various times and themes

Signature is required at each session, I forward to DECA officials at end of conference

4 sessions are waived if you make the finals

CELL PHONES

Must leave in room for tests and role-plays!

New – are not allowed to use them at opening or award ceremonies – leave in room

This year, we will be collecting them at the ceremonies

WEDNESDAY SCHEDULE

Arrive – rooms? Family meeting and walking tour 2:30 judge session in the Radisson 4:00 check in boards and video 4:00 pm family picture 4:00 pm Opening ceremony and dinner 6:30 pm role-plays start (JI, sales, papers) 8:00 pm – tests (I am proctoring from 7:00 pm – midnight) 11:00 pm curfew – sign paper

THURSDAY

7:15 am – finalists listed for Job Interview, Sales demo, and papers

Role-plays begin 8:00 am Julie and I will be available to assist with prep Leadership Academies 6:00 pm dinner and NYS Award ceremony 9:30 pm dance 11:00 pm curfew

FRIDAY

7:00 am breakfast 8:00 am National award ceremony – top 4 or

5 qualify for Nationals Nationals – Orlando, April 29th – May 4th

(quick turn around time, $700) (finishes around 10:00 am) Clean and pack – pick up at 11:00 am
