Our companions in Malawi need our help
Malawi was devastated by floods in January 2015. There has been loss of life, loss of homes, infrastructure damage and crop
damage. Disease outbreak and famine may result from the heavy rains that came late
and wiped out young crops. A state of emergency has been declared
in this country of 15 million people (10 million are below the age of 15). Malawi is one of the poorest countries in the world.
A VALENTINE FOR THE “WARM HEART OF AFRICA.”
February 15, 2015
Bless the Lord O my Soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
In the calm and in the storm the Lord is beside us.
Bless the Lord O my Soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
In the drought and in the rains the Lord is beside us.
Bless the Lord O my Soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
In places of shelter and in the open the Lord is beside us.
Bless the Lord O my Soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
In the faces of the very young and in the crackles of wisdom the Lord shines through.
Bless the Lord O my Soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
In Malawi, in the United States and in all the nations of the world the Lord is present.
Bless the Lord O my Soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
In receding waters, and dampened fields the Lord comes to heal.
Bless the Lord O my Soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
In our hearts and minds, and through or hands and gifts the Lord brings healing and
hope.
Bless the Lord O my Soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
