God of the future, you are coming in power to bring all nations under your rule. We confess that we have not expected your kingdom, for we live casual lives, ignoring your promised judgment. We accept lies as truth, exploit neighbors, abuse the earth, and refuse your justice and peace. In your mercy, forgive us. Grant us wisdom to welcome your way, and to seek the things that will endure when Christ comes to judge the world. Amen.

Each week we will be praying for our brothers and sisters in Christ within our Presbytery. This week we are praying for the Hawley Memorial Presbyterian Church in Blue Ridge Summit.
The Deacons will be collecting Canned Fruit, Canned Vegetables
during the month of December for the Ecumenical Food Pantry.
(Please check the dates on the cans, the Food Pantry will not accept expired items.)
Thank You, Thank You to all who baked cookies and candies!
Our sale was our most successful ever! Customers were at the door waiting at 8:20 AM and within 30 minutes over three quarters of the cookies were gone. We had 41 varieties of goodies and sold every last cookie. Our profit was a record breaking $3,778.00 all to be used toward the debt reduction. I have the best committee any chairman could ask for and I thank them most sincerely. Thank you again Paxton members for your help, support, and baking skills.
