HVAC Certificate Program
Program is designed to introduce students to the HVAC industry.
Through 60 hours of instruction, participants will learn HVAC knowledge and skills necessary to enter the HVAC
field. Along with basic training in theory, students will receive hands-on instruction
needed to diagnose and repair HVAC systems. Students will also participate in
workshops and receive training via an HVAC training simulator.
Finally, students will receive extensive instructions in preparation for passing
the EPA 608 certification exam.
Patient Safety Observer Training
This specialized tailored training program will equip and prepare
students to launch a career in the healthcare industry.
Constant Observers are
responsible for providing a safe environment for a patient (or
patients) requiring continuous observation, performing required
patient care within their scope, and reporting observations to the
appropriate direct patient care provider.
Students are required to complete a 4-5 Week Training Program.

The Patient Observer role provides constant bedside observation and monitoring for assigned patients to ensure safety and prevention of injury. A Patient Safety Observer job description may appear distinctly different depending on the area of Patient Safety Observer being practiced. This is because Patient Safety Observer is a rather broad field and thus encompasses a number of specialties, all of which are rooted in the health sciences.
