December 28, 2013 Dear Brothers and Sisters, Praise God for His faithfulness in 2013! In the coming months, Martha and I will be moving from Hawaii to Georgia, where I will continue to minister through Trinity Center for World Mission. I will step down from being the senior pastor at Trinity and become the Assistant Pastor for Missions. These are exciting days for this new ministry. For several years, I have realized that overseeing numerous churches and ministries in Africa and the Philippines was a full time job. A few thousand people have made professions of faith in Christ. Now they need to mature and this means discipleship and hands-on ministry. God has greatly blessed this work and we believe it has a solid foundation for future outreach. This new monthly newsletter will keep you informed regarding the work. We call it “FrontLine” because we are often on the front lines of ministry. Our focus is on discipleship, church planting and leadership training. Here in brief is a summary of what we have been doing in the past couple of months: 1. We have received our 501(c)(3) status. 2. During November and December we have been able to sponsor five feeding sites for those impacted by the typhoon in the Philippines. These provided many opportunities to share the Gospel and develop ministry partnerships. 3. The construction in Dahlonega is going well; the roof is on and this week I think the windows and doors will be installed and the air conditioning and heating installers will come. Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Praise God for His faithfulness in 2013! Here in brief is a summary of what we have been doing in the past couple of months:

1. We have received our 501(c)(3) status.2. During November and December we have been able to

sponsor five feeding sites for those impacted by the typhoon in the Philippines. These provided many opportunities to share the Gospel and develop ministry partnerships.

3. The construction in Dahlonega is going well; the roof is on and this week I think the windows and doors will be installed and the air conditioning and heating installers will come.  We

hope to be ready to do the Lord's work in May. This new facility will be a place to pray, disciple, teach, counsel, and prepare mission teams for service.

4. We plan to bring our first mission team to Dahlonega in June before heading to Uganda. We hope to travel through Kenya to Eastern Uganda and strengthen our churches there through crusades, mobile medical clinics and conferences.

5. There is a growing interest in our plans to open Trinity Biblical Institute in Gulu and Kapchorwa; there is great interest from students in our network and others and we believe that there will be plenty of interest on the part of U.S. pastors coming to help.

6. We have started a Bible fund for those in new churches without a Bible.7. We will soon have access to a very good Christian curriculum for our primary schools.8. I will be traveling from Dec 31 to Jan 8 to oversee the construction in Dahlonega and

also to attend the annual meeting of the African Christian Training Institute. In late January I hope to attend a course that focuses on coaching pastors of new church plants.

9. We are coordinating a five-day work trip to Dahlonega in May to paint the inside of our training center.

10. Pat Mamaclay and I will be leading a new Kairos Course in February.11. We provided Christmas gifts for all the children in Herbert's orphanage.  We helped fund

an outreach to school children and prisoners this week; this was overseen by our long-time partner, Dr. Elisha.

12. Our first church plant in Gulu has registered over one hundred children for a primary school beginning next year.

13. For our new training center in Georgia, we have received gifts for tables, chairs, a desk, beds, a washer and dryer, lamps, bookcases and cabinets. Items still needed include: a keyboard, sound and projection system, office supplies, lectern, kitchen supplies, projection screen, white boards, refrigerator, stove, carpet, ice maker and the largest remaining item is $24,000 needed for a parking lot.

14. We continue to expand our use of trinitycwm.org and our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/trinitycwm (If you would like to know more about this ministry, I encourage you to go to view these pages on the web. For our friends, you can find even more information at trinitycwm.org/plans-and-vision)

OTHER NEWS:  This Sunday and next the candidate recommended by our pulpit committee will be preaching at Trinity Church Central Oahu. The congregation will meet to vote on January 12 and our guess is that if called he will come in three or four months.

need to pray that God will open the doors for ministry there.6. Please pray that God will allow us to meet our goals for 2014, and also pray that we

would always follow His leading, and be open to new opportunities.7. Please pray for Martha as I will be in Uganda several times a year.8. Yes, I am asking friends and former members of Trinity to support us each month
