The second is that the waste they create goes into the atmosphere and makes people sick . In addition , many sea creatures are being wiped out by we human beings. What’s worse, the population, whose figure is now approaching 6.5 billion , is becoming larger and larger. And it means we need more land to live on and more food to eat .

However, the others state that a healthy environment and a stable economy should be possible at the same time. First of all , people are more important than fish and trees. If we cut back on the amount of things we produce, many people may lost jobs. Moreover, the people running the factories are very concerned about the environment ,and they are very careful to spend money repairing any damage they cause. Thus, we need to stop thinking of them as our enemies. Besides, we can take some effective measures .
