Information and awareness to educate and drive change
Protect our employees and
contractors
The Information and awareness track focuses on raising awareness about COVID-19 and being the single and reliable source of information. It is also the channel for promoting learning resources and communication about new behavioural expectations
Continuous information dissemination to drive behavioural change• Dedicated COVID-19 section on intranet: regular updates, informative content and videos, leadership
messages, internal advisories• Online module for mandatory twice daily recording of body temperature by employees• Daily SMS to all staff with company news, reinforcing the importance of hygiene, physical distancing,
measures to avoid virus spread. Weekly newsletter• Management action coordinated via 3x weekly senior leaders videoconferences in place since January 2020
Adapting HR policy to drive right behavior• Employees to self certify and self isolate at home on full pay for 14 days if showing signs and symptoms of
COVID-19 – incentivize the right behavior. 28 days sick leave if confirmed positive.
Virtual townhalls to ensure information dissemination and behavioral compliance• Business units use MS Teams to conduct virtual townhalls to effectively communicate with up to 1200
employees.• The virtual townhalls also serve as means to answer questions and take feedback. Use chat windows ensure
that feedback is captured.
