On-programme learningWe understand that providing apprentices with an engaging and stimulating learning programme which takes them from initial assessment through to gateway is key to a successful result. With this in mind, we have developed a range of qualifications with our training and industry partners that provides a structured, effective and efficient approach to on-programme learning.
Qualifications Mandatory: Qualifications that apprentices are required
to complete as a part of their on-programme learning and development to achieve the apprenticeship.
Optional: Qualifications that are based on apprenticeship standards and designed to support on and off-the job training and development of apprentices. While these qualifications are not mandatory, employers and training providers can still choose to use qualifications to support the delivery of the on-programme learning.

YOU SAID, WE DID As an ESFA-approved end-point assessment organisation, we put end-point assessment (EPA) at the heart of apprenticeship planning, embedding regular touchpoints with employers and training providers to ensure apprentices are fully prepared for their assessments.
We endeavor to provide a high-quality EPA service that is consistent and reliable. We will support you at every stage of the EPA journey with expert knowledge, EPA resources and services, so you can concentrate on supporting your learners through their on-programme learning.
We are unable to differentiate grade data in its current form?
We are losing the price of a token if an apprentice leaves during on-programme
On occasion, there has been a delay in booking an EPA
How do I know I have the most up to date versions of key documents?
Having a single point of contact to assist with all planning and scheduling of EPAs is good, what other support can they offer?
As a training provider, I don’t always know when an assessment is booked – what can we do?
Where can I access all of support webinars?
We have noticed communication has been streamlined during the previous months, how can we ensure this remains with the changes to ACE360?
Fed that back to ACE – reports section now allows this level of data to be accessed
Should an apprentice be archived within the first 13 weeks of their start date, the token is added back to your ACE account balance
With the introduction of the booking and scheduling tool, this will allow real time access to see what stage your booking is at
With the introduction of Knowledge Base on ACE, this will be the repository for all current and up-to-date materials
The Senior Centre Coordinator role is there to support future forecasting and ensure availability of assessors. We have encouraged SCCs to have open communication around what works/isn’t working to enable a full wrap around support service
The new booking and scheduling tool will resolve this. The system will notify you through the dashboard of confirmed assessments (inclusive of dates)
All of the support webinars can be found here
All communication will be within the booking and scheduling tool to ensure a clear audit trail of bookings and assessment dates. Any further communication which is required can be addressed to either your Business Development Manager or EPA Delivery

TRAINEESHIPSTraineeships are now available to 16 to 24 year olds who already hold a Level 3 qualification. Previously, only those qualified to Level 2 were eligible for the programme.
The core content of a Traineeship should consist of three elements:
Work preparation training
Work placement
English, maths, ESOL or digital skills as necessary
A flexible element can also be added to help the learner move into work or remove a barrier to them entering work. Traineeships can last from six weeks up to one year (although most will last for less than six months).
