Prosthetic CertificationsThe Ottobock Australia Academy team have simplified the certification requirements for Mechatronic

products by offering a two stage process for each category.

• Stage one requires clinicians to attend the Ottobock Academy for a detailed overview of all mechatronic

products in the relevant category, their differentiation and prescription guidelines. Practical tuition on the

fitting, aligning and programming of the units also forms a large part of the course content.

Stage one needs to be completed just once for all products in that range.

• Stage two of the certification is completed in the clinicians own facility, with a client they are managing.

Regulatory compliance requires CPO’s to complete a certification course prior to fitting advanced mechatronic components.

In stage 1 of this seminar you will receive an overview of all mechatronic pro-ducts in the relevant category, their differentiation and prescription guidelines. Practical tuition on the fitting, aligning and programming of the units.

• Successful participation in stage one of this seminar is a requirement for Genium/Genium X3, Kenevo, C-Leg/Cleg4 certification and system fittings.

Stage 2 of this seminar is completed within your facility with a client you are managing. You will receive further detailed information, training and gain practical experience.
