The idea of the actual design is to represent not only the user‘s effort to go on, butalso all the people behind each prosthesis, so the final design was inspired from theanatomy of a knee, as well as the mechanics of a hinge joint and an electromagneticfield, thus, representing the combination of all three areas which complementthemself in prosthesis.

Also, the design can be simplified intotheir horizontal or vertical versions, andalso be expanded as long as required, but keeping the triple groups can helpin identifying the design as a part of thecompany in the future.

Because the background‘s design will benormally black, the company‘s colors : logo blue, white and light blue, can beimplemented. A neon blue tone can beused to give a futuristic feel.

Finally, to include a design withoutoverbranding, the simplification of thefigure without Otto Bock‘s Logo canalso be useful in the future to identifythe company by recognizing its design.

The light blue color stands out overblack and two Otto Bock‘s logotypecan written: one in front of the blade while the other one in the posteriorpart of the socket, so overbranding isprevented. Extra seccions or no-logo versions of the design can also beadded to complement the product andhighlight the company‘s name, asseen in the running blade and itsfamily products on the following page.
