6.3.3 - Planning

• Patterns for 3D – to improve 3D load building solution quality – Patterns provides the ability to place multiple items into a

unique grouping where the predefined combination of items efficiently fills the available space.

– The benefit over individual placement is that the items can be arranged as a set rather than simply sorted by some criteria and then fed into the packing algorithm one item at a time.

• Users are able to define and visualize their own user defined patterns with a new UI. This allows the users to enter familiar patterns that are used in practice.

• OTM also provides the capability to auto-generate simple patterns of one or two items.

6.3.3 - Planning • Support additional location calendars based

on: – Flex Commodity

• Frozen vs Dry

– Mode Profile • LTL vs Parcel vs TL

– Inbound Location Profile • Different Calendars based on Source - location has

different hours based on source of freight – DC1 Appliances to Store1 – DC2 Soft Lines to Store 1

– Outbound Location Profile • Different Calendars based on Destination

– DC1 to Northeast Stores - MWF – DC1 to Southeast Stores - TT

6.3.3 - RIQ - Network Rate and Route

• Network Rate and Route RIQ – Network Rate & Route : Uses network routing logic to show

multiple options (equipment, schedules) for the primary leg in an itinerary vs just the best option per itinerary • Additional Rate and Route input criteria added, additional output

information, new configuration options provided and XML APIs to support the new capabilities.

6.3.3 - RIQ - Network Rate and Route

• In this example 1 itinerary generates 6 options to consider – 3 different equipment groups (20’, 40’, 40’ HC) available out of 2 different Ports of Discharge (Osaka and

Kobe).

6.3.3 - Document Management

• Document Storage with CMIS Compliant Content Management Systems

– Store documents using content management systems (CMS) that follow the Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) standard. • Certified CMSs that follow the CMIS standard include Oracle

WebCenter Content (WCC) and SharePoint and many others

– Multiple document management systems can be supported, allowing documents to be stored in different systems based on domain, type, or content.

6.3.4 - Planning

• Allocation Group ID - Provides a way to specify on the order the commitment allocation “bucket” that should be used

– Previously commitment allocation was by lane across carriers

– This change provides a way to specify allocation requirements beyond just the carrier lane level

• So for an LSP with multiple customers on the same lane - each with different carrier allocation commitment requirements - this change will allow for those different allocation strategies to be supported
