He’s a mastermind and a very skilled manipulator. His strong hate for the moor will make him come up with a web of lies, fooling the main character, as well as Brabantio, assio, !oderigo and his own wife, "milia# only to make his own interests reality. "ven though he is e$tremely intelligent, he is not well% mannered, nor a gentleman, acting bold and rude to women, including his own spouse. He compares himself many times with the devil, although he is praised as an honest and a benevolent person.
