1 Product OverviewThe UTEL OTDR operates at 1650nm and has an advanced optical design and processing system

allowing it to offer a very high Dynamic range. Designed for site installation the OTDR is controlled by

Ethernet allowing it to be installed in the most convenient location.

The OTDR will act as a controller and manage any UTEL Optical Switches connected to it.

· Industry standard test wavelengths, no

interruption to service

· Options for output format – skilled and non-

skilled operators

· Choice of panel connectors

· Fault Analysis available at various levels
