Safety information
The following information is provided for your safety:
• Please read these operating instructions carefully before installing and using the OT EASY60. This is the only way to ensure that you use the equipment safely and correctly. Keepthese operating instructions in a safe place for future reference. You should make sure thateveryone who uses OT EASY 60 has read these operating instructions.
• The appropriate infra-red receiver must be used (see Technical data).
• OT EASY 60 may only be installed by qualified personnel who have been appropriatelytrained and who have the relevant authority. The installation personnel must be familiar
with the operating instructions. Power must be switched off before any work is undertakenon the unit.
• The OT EASY 60 unit is especially designed for independent installations.
• The relevant safety and accident prevention regulations must be observed.
• The external switch must be designed for mains voltages.
• If the control cable or switch input is wired with external voltage, particularly with a mainsvoltage of 230 V, the unit may be destroyed.

Input wire preparation
Input cables connecting mains and EASY signal
Wires with an outer diameter in the range 6 mm – 9 mm can be used for input.Connect the pre-cabled RJ11 wire (e.g. coming from an IR receiver or from other devices) using therubber adapter in order to obtain a suff icient outer diameter for the cable clamp.
Secure the single wires by closing the connector screws and then block the cables using the suitable
cable clamps. To obtain a correct clamp, the cable clamps can be used upside down and the adaptermust be oriented with the deeper cavity on the bottom if the cable diameter is too large.
For the input wires refer to the following table:
Input wires diameter Cable Clamp RJ11 Adapter
6 mm – 7.5 mm 3 Cavities on the top Bigger cavity on the top
7.5 mm – 8.5 mm 3 Cavities on the top Bigger cavity on thebottom

Output wire preparation
Output cables for LED modules connection
Prepare the output cables as indicated in the picture below.
Use 2 cables with 3 wires inside with a cross section of 1.5 mm 2, if the distance between the
power supply and LED modules is less than 5 m.For longer distances, between 5 m and 10 m, use wires with a cross section of 2.5 mm2.
Don’t use output wires longer than 10 m.Standard cables suited for AC 230 V can be used, but without the yellow/green wire. Use cables withblack instead of the yellow/green. The two cables must be identical (they must have the same outerdiameter) in order to clamp them correctly.

If the GND (-) wire is unused, it can be cut or connected to the device, but not to LED modules (cutthe end of the wire close to the LED module).
Secure the single wires closing the screws and then block the cables using the suitable cable clamp.
The output cable clamp must be always used with the 2 identical cavities on the bottom (see picture):

Note:
Make sure that there is a line of sight between the IR-receiver and the remote control.Up to 4 IR-receivers may be connected. To ensure that the remote control functionoperates properly, the IR receiver must not be exposed to direct light. Whereverpossible, mount the IR-receiver in a shaded spot.
