OSWEGO HOUSING DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL, INC. Oswego County Program Name: County of Oswego RESTORE Program Location: County-wide Number of Units: 25 RESTORE Award: $125,000 Oswego Housing Development Council, Inc. will administer a program to provide emergency home repairs for elderly homeowners. The Oswego Housing Development Council, Inc. (OHDC) is requesting RESTORE funds to support 25 units under the County of Oswego RESTORE Program. The Council is proposing utilizing RESTORE funds for emergency repairs to single family unit homes, which will be occupied by very-low income (at or below 50% of the area median income for the Syracuse MSA) elderly and/or frail elderly homeowners. The types of emergency repairs to be handled by the Program will be defined as emergency repairs to address conditions that pose a threat to the life, health, and safety of the very-low income elderly homeowner. Typical repairs under this category may consist of but not limited to repair/replacement of heating systems, roofing systems, electrical systems, water systems (interior plumbing and wells), sewer systems (interior plumbing and septic), and unsafe access or egress. Additional funding will be provided by NYS Affordable Housing Corporation, NYS Access to Home, NYS HOME Program, and Oswego County Office for the Aging. SHARS ID: 20084008
