Volunteer Process

• Forms for new volunteer’s can be found on our web-site under

Volunteer Information

• Ohio 4-H office policy is there is no such thing as a “parent helper” – 2

process

• End of 2013: OSU Policy 1.50: builds on already existing procedures

and strengthens our overall commitment to safety of youth • A key part of this is that all 4-H volunteers will need to have BCI fingerprints before

service begins and every 4 years after

You are all making a difference. We can’t thank you enough!

Volunteer Pledge

I pledge my Head to give children the information I can, to help them see things clearly and to make wise decisions.

I pledge my Heart to encourage and support children no matter whether they have success or disappointments.

I pledge my Hands to help children's groups; if I cannot be a leader, I can help in many equally important ways.

I pledge my Health to keep children strong and will for a better world through 4-H, for children's groups, our community, our country, and our world.
