OST-101 Introduction to Openstack private clouds (extended) Course Description: This course covers (Infrastructure As A Service) solution used for creating a private cloud. It starts with a PAAS - Platform As A Service, SAAS – Software As A Service) continuing with the origin and main features of Openstack, its architecture and core building blocs. An important part of the training is the demonstration of the basic features and operation of an Openstack system. Finally it shortly presents the most popular distributions like the fundamentals of the Openstack IAAS general cloud primer and the main cloud types ( IAAS - Infrastructure As A Service, the Ubuntu Linux based Community Edition, Red Hat Openstack and Mirantis Openstack as well as complete private cloud solutions of important IT vendors like Cisco, HP, IBM and Oracle based on Openstack.
