• Description– Welding lead cable splice were not insulated.

All splices and metal parts of cables and parts must be guarded.


• Standard– 1910.303(b)(1)

• Description– Building wiring systems were not properly

installed. Wiring draped over building surfaces.


• Standard– 1910.303(b)(2)

• Description– Equipment not installed IAW listing

requirements.


• Standard– 1910.303(g)(1)(iii)

• Description– Access to circuit breaker panels blocked.


• Standard– 1910.303(g)(2)(i)

• Description– Live parts exposed.

• Description– The receptacle was not properly installed in

the junction box which exposed energized parts.

• Description– Broken electrical receptacle exposing

energized parts.

exposed. All live parts are required to be guarded.

required to be grounded.

electric plug.

damage. Lying across road where cranes and other vehicular traffic could pass over the wiring.

• Description– The faceplate was removed from the

receptacle exposing the energized parts.

• Description– Electrical systems were not designed for wet

and damp locations

• Description– The electrical plug did not have adequate

strain relief which causes stress on the contacts.

• Description– Electric cords and cables lying in water.


• Standard– 1910.305(j)(1)(iv)

• Description– The receptacle which was approved for wet

and damp locations was damaged.


• Standard– 1910.307(b)(1)

• Description– Electrical wiring was not approved for

hazardous locations. Paint spray area.


• Description– Electrical wiring and systems were not

installed IAW NEC.
