Guard Bureau (NGB) maintaining a close relationship with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and the entire AFNETOPs. My last 26 plus years has been working directly in communications, the last 12 plus years working at the enterprise level in the ANG INOSC. I make daily decisions that directly impact the day to day network operations and security of the entire ANG.

Served 4 years as the Information Assurance Officer (IAO) for the entire ANG Enterprise, with extensive knowledge of Information Security, providing expert guidance to wings with regard to Security and Information Assurance, interpretation of AF/DOD regulations, NGB guidance, NSA and NIST guidance, and more. Currently serving as the Information Assurance Manager (IAM) for the ANG INOSC.

Spearheaded a 3 plus years long ANG Enterprise Certification and Accreditation (C&A) effort, which produced roughly 1000 various documents, changed enterprise level architecture and procedures to improve security and prevented the disconnect of the entire ANG Enterprise from the DISA backbone (NIPRNet). These efforts also brought the entire ANG into compliance with FISMA laws for security. I have recently finished re-accreditation of the C&A as this reoccurs on a three year cycle.

Use of extensive written and verbal communication skills daily with many entities including AFNETOPS, NGB, DISA, all ANG Wings, and other services and outside agencies. Personally assisted the AF in the re-writing of many existing communication (33) series AF Regulations and Instructions, and assisted Project Management Offices with developing standard checklists and other written guidance. Directly involved in the development of the ANG Enterprise C&A Inheritance and Service Level Agreement documents currently provided to all ANG Wings.

Served as a member of the National Guard Bureau Project Integration Group (NGB-PIG), which developed new policies, architectures, and integrated new technology into existing ANG network operations.

Currently carry the CISSP certification, as well as pursuing higher level education with Friends University.

Previously experience includes working in INOSC, Telecommunications, Computer Maintenance, Radio Maintenance, Audio Visual, Network Communications Center and Aircraft Avionics. Possess a strong understanding of the daily operations and security/IA requirements of the entire communications arena, both from a national level and local level.

Currently in possession of a Read-In Top Secret SCI security clearance.

In closing, I am a highly motivated individual and more than ready to take on new challenges and responsibilities. I truly appreciate your taking the time to consider my resume and what I have to offer in terms of Leadership, Knowledge and Professionalism and 32+ years of experience and service. I hope to begin working for you soon.
