OSAMA BIN LADEN’S DEATH

BEGINNING OF THE END Gitmo in 2003 is where the intel

started. Osama had cut off direct ties to his

inter-most loyal circle and had starting using couriers to relay information.

One of the head couriers was captured at housed at Gitmo and information started being leaked.

IN PLAIN SITE… He lived in a $1 million mansion compound

“hiding in plain site” in the middle of the city of Abbottabad just north of Islamabad. This raised the question of whether Pakistan knew he was in the country.

“Geronimo” was the code name for bin Laden’s mission and a Pakistani citizen tweeted about the noise and the helicopters and realized later what the big commotion was about.

At the time of the shoot out, a woman was in the room with Osama and his 19 year old son, it was unclear on whether this was his wife or whether he used her as a shield. Some report that she was protecting Osama and stood in front of him – She rushed the Special Ops forces and was immediately shot in the leg.

Osama had the equivalent of $745 and two phone numbers sewn into his outfit at the time of his death.

Special Ops called “Team 6” were the men that conducted the mission and no photos, interviews, etc. can be taken from these men because it is such a secretive mission.

Barack Obama was given several different options on how to capture/kill bin Laden and he choose the riskiest option so that we could make sure they got Osama’s body and verify he was dead

Within 24 hours, his body was given a full Islamic ceremony aboard a USS ship and wrapped in a white sheet and buried at sea.

After a sweep of the compound, hundreds of files, CDs and other information was found, the US created a special task force just to sort through this information.
