Why These Platforms Twitter – We chose Twitter because a large majority if
not all of our classmates are using and active on
Twitter. Also the hashtag IMCSLC is used greatly
between professors and students of the program.
Facebook – We chose Facebook because all teachers
and students use Facebook avidly, and are part of the
third year IMCSLC group. Facebook has very little
limitations when it comes to sharing content.
Why These Platforms Pinterest – We chose Pinterest because many of our
classmates use this and Brittany already had a fairly
large amount of followers including people from our
class. Pinterest is incredibly easy to post infographics
and other relevant class imagery.
What Worked Posting Photos allowed people to easily see what they
had missed and could go back to read it again
Offering incentives
Asking questions as opposed to making statements
Replying
Improvements To improve our overall results and engagement we
believe we should have posted more frequently
Should have posted a wider variety of content (Video)
Could have included more CMOST to encourage
awareness of platforms that were being utilized.
Our outcome Throughout our week of being concierge we learnt that
as much as we tried to engage people it is primarily up
to them to want to be involved.
Offering content relevant to them is most important as
well as encouraging response
