Tangle is the result of skilful craftsmanshipIngegerd Råman’s distinctive tangle patterns (like the star in the picture) and play of lines are transferred onto the glass based on Ingegerd’s sketches. It is an advanced form of craftsmanship performed by skilled painters and engravers, who engrave and apply cut decoration to the glass. The pattern is engraved onto the glass by hand using a sandblasting technique. The close cooperation between the designer and the artisan is highly significant in achieving the desired artistic expression.

They were Ulrica Hydman-Vallien’s breakthroughs, which she followed up with her popular Tulipa series. Ulrica is one of Sweden’s best-known artists. Her unmistakable figures have decorated a variety of objects, including mobile phones and aircraft tails.
