➢ It is unlikely another vessel of equivalent capability could be acquired, limited converted Off Shore Supply Vessels in existence.

➢ While the vessel is professionally maintained by qualified Orion crew with a preventative maintenance plan, unscheduled maintenance requirement can occur on ocean going vessels.

➢ 6.302.1 Only One Responsible Source. Demonstrates a Unique or Compelling Concept as Ship Assault Simulation and Training Platform. Orion Solutions demonstrates the unique capability to manage this platform for this type of training.

➢ 6.302.2 Compelling Urgency. The vessel to support the platform may be acquired by another interested party. It would be difficult for NSW to identify a platform of similar capability.

➢ 6.302.6 National Security. Disclosing tactical training information or requirements in an open solicitation would compromise national security.
