Dear Maricopa County Community College District:
TransAmerica Training Management (TAM Training) is pleased to submit this proposal to help
MCCCD with solutions to address immediate as well as a long-term technology training needs. By
providing this proposal in response to MCCCD RFP #3134-10, TAM Training has read and agrees to
comply with the RFP general terms and conditions as listed in RFP #3134-10 Section 1, 2 and 3.
1. Overview of TAM Training
TAM Training was established in 2004, and comprised of professional and certified Technology
Training Professionals including Education Consultants, Trainers and Instructional Designers. TAM
Training is an Oracle University Reseller and Training Delivery partner, and has received 7 national
awards in the past 4 years including Oracle University Partner of the Year and Outstanding Instructor
Quality 2012.
TAM has successfully managed and supported multiple Technology Training initiatives for ongoing
needs, implementations or upgrades. When we work with a customer, we create an alliance with the
shared goal to develop and execute an effective training strategy that will ensure we meet the
organization’s performance objectives. Our training strategies follow current best practices and adult
learning principles that are proven to be effective.
2. Our Understanding of MCCCD’s Minimum Proposal Requirements
The Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD) intends to engage the services of
individual firms or individuals to provide technology training services and associated certifications,
including but not limited, in the areas described in RFP # 3134-10, Section 1.1 INTRODUCTION.
Based on the proposal requirements described in RFP # 3134-10, Section 4.1 we have developed
the following response to represent TAM’s understanding of MCCCD’s minimum requirement and
TAM’s ability to meet each of the minimum requirements (requirements and instructions are listed using
the RFP paragraph / section numbers):
4.1.1 - TransAmerica Training Management Inc., is licensed by the State of Florida, the
State in which the business is in.
4.1.2 - TAM Training Proposal Section 5, provides a completed pricing schedule (RFP #
3134-10, Section 8) signed by an authorized company signatory.

4.1.3 - TAM Training has carefully read and understands all parts of the RFP and certifies
that this Proposal is made in accordance therewith.
4.1.4 – TAM Training Section 4, provides written answers to the respondent questionnaire
(RFP # 3134-10, Section 7). All TAM Training’s answers are in the order in which the
questions were asked by MCCCD.
Based on the proposal requirements described in RFP # 3134-10, Section 4.2 we have developed
the following response to represent TAM’s understanding of MCCCD’s Specific Instructions and TAM’s
ability to follow each of the instructions:
4.2.1 - RFP Attachment B: BIDDER REFRENCES – Private Business Contracts completed
by TAM Training, provides (3) TAM Training client references. Including company name,
contact name, address, updated telephone number, description of the service(s) provided.
4.2.2 - TAM Training Proposal Section 6 provides a list of all higher education institutions
that have utilized TAM Training services (in the areas TAM Training is responding to) for
applications or related services.
4.2.3 – TAM Training Proposal Section 3 and Proposal Attachment C, provides MCCCD
with all current training courses (in the areas TAM Training is responding to), certifications,
preparation courses, including in person, virtual, on-site group, off-site group, webinars,
individual, and train the trainer.
4.2.4 - TAM Training Proposal Section 7 and Proposal Attachment A provides a
representative list of resumes for people who could be instructors or trainers assigned to the
MCCCD (in the areas TAM Training is responding to) based on the categories described in
RFP # 3134-10 section 5.1.
4.2.5 – TAM Training acknowledges that MCCCD reserves the right to refuse any
subcontractor the vendor offers. All resumes, work histories, etc. will be provided by TAM
Training to MCCCD for any suggested subcontractor the same as required for any vendor.
4.2.7 - TAM Training Proposal Section 8 provides a list of all of the training certifications
and appropriate licensing (in the areas TAM Training is responding to) from sanctioning
organizations or companies.
4.2.8 – TransAmerica Training Management Inc. (TAM Training) is solely owned by Mr.
Gabriel Albelo, President, and has, to the best of the his knowledge, information, or belief:
4.2.8.1 - Never been the subject of any criminal investigation, prosecution, or conviction for
any alleged act or omission related to the activities of said business or within the scope of
their responsibilities as an officer, agent, or employee of any of the foregoing; or
4.2.8.2 - Never been terminated said entity's contracts or had its contracts terminated prior
to the completion or normal expiration of the term thereof; or
4.2.8.3 - Never been sued or been sued for breach of contract, misrepresentation, fraud, or
any form of infringement (e.g. copyright, trade secret, patent, etc.).
Per RFP Section 4.4, this proposal is signed by Mr. Gabriel Albelo - President, who is an
authorized signatory of TransAmerica Training Management, Inc.

3. Our Understanding of MCCCD’s Scope of Work
Based on the MCCCD Scope of Work described in RFP # 3134-10, Section 5.1 we have indicated
below which of the areas TAM Training is responding to and the delivery formats that can be provided

It is understood by TAM Training that the Proposer (TAM Training) is not required to have
expert knowledge or programs associated with the entire list in list in RFP Section 5.1.
TAM Training has made special notations in TAM Training Proposal Section 4 and 8, as
TAM Training plans to use a TAM Partner, a subcontractor for the provision of any or all
services described in Section.
TAM Training does not have facilities, nor staff permanently located in the Phoenix,
Arizona metropolitan area.
The process that TAM Training will use to communicate organizational changes that impact
these services to MCCCD is as follows: TAM Training will assign an account manager that
will be the single point of contact for MCCCD. This account manager will be responsible
for all communication with MCCCD point of contact(s).
TAM Training’s maximum percentage price increase for years two to five, as compared to
year one would be 10%.
4. TAM Training’s response to RFP # 3134-10, Section 7- RESPONDENT
QUESTIONNAIRE
7.1 -Description of Firm/Personnel: Provide a brief description of company, including
the date the company was established, a brief corporate history, the number of
companies/institutions using your training, the number of higher education clients, and
the organization’s experience providing training for organizations similar in size and
scope to this one.
TransAmerica Training Management, Inc. (TAM Training/TAM) is a multiple award
winning Oracle University Approved /Certified Reseller and Training Delivery partner
owned and operated by former PeopleSoft Inc. Education employees and Master level
Instructors.
Established in 2004, TAM Training has grown to 7 training centers throughout North
America and become Oracle’s largest application training partner in North America.
TAM Training has 9 years of proven success delivering Oracle/PeopleSoft /Database In-
classroom Instructor Led Training in the Oracle University Partner network. TAM
Instructor holds 10 + years of experience delivering PeopleSoft Curriculum in both project
team training and real-world (End User Training) scenarios..
TAM Training has delivered Oracle Certified PeopleSoft, eBuisness Suite, Middleware,
OBIEE, Hyperion Training to an extensive number of Public Sector and Higher Ed
Customers throughout the US and in the state of California.
TAM Training Proposal Section 6 lists some of the customers who have experienced
successfull delivery of Oracle certified training Applications training including in
PeopleSoft 9.1 and Tools 8.50 Training. TAM Training encourages customer due diligence
thus offers UCSB to request TAM customer references.

7.2 - Services Available
TAM Training is qualified and has experienced, award winning instructors who are Oracle
certified and able to provide Oracle Certified Training in the following areas: Oracle
Database, PeopleSoft, Hyperion Oracle, BI, Fusion Middleware and other Oracle products
in the following formats; In person, virtual, on-site group, off-site group, webinars,
individual, and train the trainer.
In the RFP, Section 5.1 areas that TAM Training is responding to, TAM Training will
subcontract a qualified Technical Training provider that has all the necessary certifications
and licensing, to deliver the Technical training outlined in TAM Training Proposal Section
3. Courses and any applicable preparation courses will be available in one or more of the
following delivery modalities: In person, virtual, on-site group, off-site group, webinars,
individual, and train the trainer.
7.3 - Explain why you feel your company should be awarded the contract.
As an award winning training company in North America, TAM Training can ensure that
Maricopa gets high quality technology training and not just the least expensive low quality
training options.
7.4 - Confirm or qualify your ability to provide each element of Section 5 "Scope of
Work.”
The sub-contractor partner company (herein referred to as “TAM Partner”) which TAM
Training will utilize to provide the TAM the Training /elements TAM is responding to.
This partner of TAM’s has been a leading Authorized and Certified Technical Training
Provider for the past 15 years. The sub-contractor organization provides a robust portfolio
of Certified training and certification programs for leading Technology such as Microsoft,
Unix, Linux and Java.
TAM Training is qualified and has experienced, award winning instructors who are Oracle
certified and able to provide Oracle Certified Training in the following areas: Oracle
Database, PeopleSoft, Hyperion Oracle, BI, Fusion Middleware and other Oracle products
in the following formats; In person, virtual, on-site group, off-site group, webinars,
individual, and train the trainer. TAM Training subcontractors are required to meet the
same high quality standards as TAM instructors and resources.
7.5 - Complete the Questionnaire to provide specific information about the services that
may be provided.
TAM Training Proposal Section 4 is intended to present TAM Training’s completion and
complete responses to RFP Questionnaire. For specific information about the services that
may be provides please refer to TAM Training Proposal Sections 3, 4, and 5.
7.6 - List any additional information about your firm and personnel that would
demonstrate the firms’ qualifications to provide requested services.

excellence in teaching technical training both proven by student course evaluation and
ratings. In addition, the proposed instructors are duly certified in the following areas:

TAM’s clients are guaranteed to receive quality service where TAM Instructors or TAM
Partner instructors are teaching courses. TAM will offer support during the initial stages of
each project / class recommending appropriate educational routes depending on the level of
skills of participating students. Upon completion of any educational program TAM
provides, we offer support to students through email, phone and social sites like Facebook
and Twitter.

5. Pricing
TAM Training expects to complete the Technology Training effort at the rates in accordance with
the Pricing Schedule further below.
TAM Training, in compliance with Request for Proposal #3134-10 for the provision of Technology
Training Services has examined the specifications and being familiar with all the conditions surrounding
the proposed project hereby proposes to furnish the desired implementation and related services in
accordance with the Contract Documents of which this proposal will be a part.
1. Hourly rate for proposed services includes: project leadership, configuration, data
cleansing and conversion, testing, documentation, and end user training.
Table below presents the role and all inclusive rate* for potential resources.
All prices are quoted in US Dollars.
*As MCCCD has described strong preference of rates to be inclusive of all travel and per Diem,
pricing below is inclusive of all travel and per diem.

9. Assumptions
TAM believes in applying proven project management techniques in all of our work. One of the
key elements of project management is to provide a clear description of the project assumptions. The
assumptions used in preparing our proposal are:
1. All project work will be completed in a timely manner. Once initiated, the work will proceed in
an orderly fashion until all required work is completed.
2. TAM will apply all of its expertise to any contractual engagement with MCCCD. However, the
success of a project/engagement is largely dependent on MCCCD for access to appropriate and
accurate information, timely agenda reviews, and approval of deliverables.

About This Course This section provides you with a brief description of the course, audience, suggested prerequisites, and course objectives.
Course Description The purpose of this 5-day course is to teach Active Directory Technology Specialists how to implement and configure secure network access and implement fault tolerant storage technologies, understand the network technologies most commonly used with Windows Server 2008 and IP-enabled network, and how to secure servers and maintain update compliance. After completing this course, students will be able to configure and troubleshoot a Windows Sever 2008 network infrastructure.
Audience The primary audience for this course includes Active Directory technology specialists aspiring to be Enterprise Administrators (Tier 4 day-to-day network operations) or Network Administrators (Tier 2). Experienced Server Administrators aspiring to be Enterprise Administrators would also benefit from this course.
The secondary audience for this course includes Storage Area Network Administrators who need to understand this information to deploy or extend their current storage infrastructure. Operations Managers who need this information to support troubleshooting efforts and business decisions would also benefit from this course.

Virtual Machine Environment This section provides the information for setting up the classroom environment to support the business scenario of the course.
Virtual Machine Configuration In this course, you will use Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 to perform the labs.
Important: At the end of each lab, you must close the virtual machine and must not
save any changes. To close a virtual machine without saving the changes, perform
the following steps: 1. On the host computer, click Start, point to All Programs,
point to Microsoft Virtual Server, and then click Virtual Server Administration
Website. 2. Under Navigation, click Master Status. For each virtual machine that is
running, point to the virtual machine name, and, in the context menu, click Turn off
Virtual Machine and Discard Undo Disks. Click OK.

Course Hardware Level To ensure a satisfactory student experience, Microsoft Learning requires a minimum equipment configuration for trainer and student computers in all Microsoft Certified Partner for Learning Solutions (CPLS) classrooms in which Official Microsoft Learning Product courseware are taught. This course requires a computer that meets or exceeds hardware level 5, which specifies a 2.4–gigahertz (minimum) Pentium 4 or equivalent CPU, at least 2 gigabytes (GB) of RAM, 16 megabytes (MB) of video RAM, and a 7200 RPM 40-GB hard disk.
