VISION

HISTORY Founded in 1993 as a subsidiary of ECTA group of Companies. Oriel went on to acquire the agency to sell and

distribute Monroe Shock Absorbers thus becoming the sole distributor in East Africa.

1999 In September Oriel Ltd relocated from Addis Ababa Road to current location on Mombasa Road.

2000 Oriel Ltd opened the Suspension Fitting Centre

2001 King Coil Springs added to Oriel’s quality line of products.

2002 Opened office in Kampala, Uganda

2006 Opened Stock Shop branch office in Mombasa

2009 Changed Mombasa branch to a Fitting Centre concept & relocated to a larger premises on Links Road, Nyali.

2011 Extended Fitting Centre on Mombasa Road, upgraded F/C equipment & increased store capacity

2012 Added OBK Coil Springs from Japan to our product line

2013 Opened Fitting Centre Facility in Kisumu, Western Region of Kenya

2014 Set-up of new Fitting Centre Facility in Parklands Area, Nairobi for wider penetration and reach in the capital city

- Launch of Oriel Auto Care program offering lubes, minor and intermediate service for all car models

2015 Opened the Ngong road outlet behind Oilybia near Uchumi Hyper.
