Join us for a day of information, strategizing, discus-sion and
training on how to organize to create policychange. Our communities
know what they need to
create a healthy food system. Local-level policyshould reflect
our communities needs and priorities.Organizing is the most
effective way to build powerin our communities and ensure that our
voices are-heard.
Topics to be covered include: Ways of creatingchange; Organizing
to address food system issues;The tools and tactics of an
organizer; How policy can
be used to support community food needs; San Ber-nardinos food
policy landscape;
