I. Security Branch of Sonpur division is headed by

Mohammad Saquib, Sr. Divisional Security

Commissioner, who is assisted by three Assistant

Security Commissioner two at Sonpur and another one

at Baruani.

II. Ten RPF Post in Sonpur division and their respective

jurisdictions are given below:

(1) RPF Post Sonpur

From Jagjivan Bridge to Chapra Kachahri Outer signal.

From east of Jagjivan Bridge to West side side to Outer

signal of Bachhwara.

Muzaffarpur to Kaparpura.

(4) RPF Post Narainpur Anant

From Muzaffarpur to west outer signal of Samastipur.

(5) RPF Post Barauni

From East outer signal of Samastipur to Outer signal of

Tilrath station.

(6) RPF Post Garhara

Achievement for the month of October/2013

1. On 07.01.2013 officers and staff of RPF Post Hajipur recovered 170 Kgs.

banned betel nut valued Rs. 22,000/- at Hajipur Railway station. The

recovered property handed over to Custom department Hajipur for further

legal action.

2. On 27/28.02.2013, receipt of information about victimization of SLR

attached with train no. 14524 Harihar Exp. at east side gate no. 6 near

Permanandpur Station. Getting this information IPF/Sonpur with staff

immediately reached the PO and succeeded to apprehend 03 criminals who

were loading the stolen parcel booty in a TATA magic. The value of parcel

goods (Hosiery items& electronic items) was about Rs. 32000/-. In this

connection RPF Post/Sonpur registered a case no. 03/2013 Dt. 28.02.2013

u/s 3RP(UP)Act.

3. On 27.02.2013 during round conducted by IPF/Barauni with staff, arrested

02 veteran druggist namely Chitranjan Mahto and Subodh Mahto at PF no.

2/3 Barauni Railway Station. During personal search 60 nos. ATVAN

Tablet were recovered from their possession and confessesed that they used

to theft passenger belongings after drugging the passengers by eatable

items. The arrested persons handed over to GRP/Barauni for further legal

action. In this connection GRP/Barauni registered a case no. 17/13 dt.

28.02.2013 u/s 20/22 NDPS Act.

4. On 07.03.2013 officer and staff of RPF/Post/Barauni recovered 05 Kg &

500 gms. ganja with arrest of one person at Railway station Barauni. The

Value of recovered property was Rs. 18000/- appox. The arrested person

and recovered property handed over to GRP/Barauni for further legal

action.

5. On 11.05.2013 three criminals apprehended by the passengers of train no.

55022 Dn (Intercity fast passenger) at Goldenganj Rly. Station. They were

committing theft of their luggage, in which one criminal succeeded to flee

away from PO. On arrival of the said train at Dighwara Station, RPF staff

attended and arrested criminals with victim passenger brought to Local PS

Dighwara. On leading information of arrested accused persons, jointly raid

conducted by RPF & GRP and absconder accused Namely Samser @

Dactorwa arrested by them at Chapra. In this connection GRPS Sonpur

registered a case no. 35/2013 Dt. 11.05.2013 u/s 392 IPC against arrested

accused persons.

6. On 25.08.2013 during round conducted by IPF/Barauni with staff, arrested

01 veteran druggist namely Awadh Rai S/O Late.Nandu Rai, Vill-Bishar

asthan, P.S-Phulwaria, Distt-Begusarai at PF no. 9 near foot over bridge of

Barauni Railway Station. During personal search 35 nos. ATVAN Tablets,

one blade, one knife & some eatable items were recovered from his

possession and confesses that he used to theft passenger belongings after

drugging to the passengers by eatable items. The arrested person handed

over to GRP/Barauni for further legal action. In this connection

GRP/Barauni registered a case no. 58/13 dt. 25.08.2013 u/s 20/21 NDPS

Act. & 414 IPC.

7. On 27-8-2013 receipt of the secret information a raid was conducted by

IPF/Sonpur with staff in Railway Hospital/Sonpur and succeeded to arrest

two persons involved in fake recruitment of six boys in Gruoup ‘D’ in

railway. During the personal search some certificates, mobile and printed

form of Rail wheel factory were recovered. The arrested persons with

written complaint and recovered items handed over to the Local

Police/Sonpur. In this connection Local Police/Sonpur registered a case

no.322/13 Dt.27-8-2013 under section 419, 420, 120(B) and 34 IPC.

8. On 26.09.2013 arrival of train no.15269 (Jansadharan Express) at Hajipur

station, during checking of the train by the RPF and found 06 child labours,

who were supplying by the contractor namely Nanak Shahani. The child

labours handed over to NGO (Child line adhikar/Hajipur) with written

complaint for further legal action.

9. On 26.09.2013 IPF/RPF /Hajipur with staff arrested one person namely Md.

Ful Hasan, S/O-Md. Firoj, Vill-Mohanpur, PS-Goraul, Distt-Vaishali at

Hajipur/Malgodown. During interrogation he confessed that he is an

accused of a case no.329/13 Dt.16.09.2013 under section 302 IPC of Goraul

Local P.S. in connection with the murder of his sister. The arrested accused

person handed over to the OC/Local Police/Goraul for further action.
