Call center of the KRMUCONCLUSIONS

During the operation of the call center from 2015, medical andpsychological, social assistance has been rendered to 2,045 peopleraising disabled children from 181 localities in the Republic ofKazakhstan on the problems of 86 childhood’s pathologies.

It was found out that in 57% of cases children suffered fromcerebral paralysis, in 31% of cases, children were with CPD, 8% ofchildren had congenital developmental anomalies, in 4% caseswith injuries of various organs.

Call center of the KRMUIt turned out that 50% people needed medical advice, counseling on

the education of children (21%), and in some cases also social (37%) andlegal aid (12%).

Thus, a model of psychological medical-social telemedicine assistancefor people with disabled children appeared in the Republic of kazakhstan.

At the same time, it can be stated that despite the available resourcesof the KRMU, the support of UNDP, the Government for Citizens, theMinistry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, for a full-time, qualified psychological and social assistance for people with disabledchildren, all-round support of the Call Center operation is necessary.

Results for the university

• A learning elective program is formed withthe creation of a multidisciplinary team led by amedical psychologist working with families withdisabled children.

Prospects for the development of the center

• Dissemination of experience to othercenters and regions.• Improving people’s life quality with disabledchildren.• Socialization of persons with disabledchildren.

Conclusion• Relieving and improving parent’s life who havechildren with disabilities.• Providing quality health and social andpsychological services to people in remote locations.• Creating online psychological help with amultidisciplinary team that helps families withdisable children.
