Union Colours is a wholly ownedinternational division of the LongyuPigment and ChemicalsCorporation, the largest OrganicPigment manufacturer in China.First established in 1980, ourparent group has grown to be amajor force in the production ofOrganic pigments.

The main production site in China issituated at an industrial park inChangzhou, Jiangsu. Here wemanufacture the bulk colour lines tointernationally required standards, thatare used in the Printing Ink, Coatings andPlastics industries world-wide. Withcontinuous investment in new plant andtechnology the plant is modern, efficientand exceeds all local, regional andnational environmental requirements.

Whilst having substantial productioncapacity, the factory is supported bysatellite units which produce the lesservolume high performance colour lines. Inaddition, we have an alliance with RolfesPigments in Johannesburg, South Africa,

where we make specialised grades ofpigments which are often developed andtailor made to individual customerrequirements.

Our technical activities are global,steered from our purpose built TechnicalCentre in the United Kingdom, we havedevelopment and testing capabilities onthree continents. This allows us to bringtogether our customers, development,manufacturing and quality control,resulting in a robust, sustainable supplychain and product improvementprogramme.

In the past five years we have beenengaged in a technically lead campaignof aligning our products to meet, and ina number of cases, exceed ourinternational customer needs. In so doingwe have been able to launch 40 new orimproved products.
