is the local University here in Klamath Falls, OR.

OIT doesn't just focus on there students graduating, but……

OIT also play an important role to our community, schools, and families.

One event that OIT has held for 3 years now and is continuing to grow is known as the Pink Out Game.

The Pink Out Game is where the men’s and woman’s basketball teams wear pink uniforms and play a special game that is dedicated to cancer awareness.

The profits from ticket sales go to the Endowed scholarship fund.

This scholarship was dedicated to the schools former president Martha Anne Dow Endowed, who lost her fight to cancer.

At the end of the night the scholarship is awarded to a lucky OIT student.

OIT’s Dental Clinic For our local families and elementary schools

OIT opens their Dental Hygiene Clinic to the public.

The care for the participants is done by the students who are in the Dental program.

There fees range from no charge up to $125. The students perform normal cleanings,

evaluations, x-rays, and more. You can go to the following website for more

OIT’s Dental Clinic Continued

Besides being open to the general public OIT’s Dental Hygiene students also provide a fluoride program for some of our local elementary students who are in 1st and 5th grade.

These students of course need their parents permission to participate.

OIT’s Summer Programs OIT offer’s several different summer

camps for children to try out. Some of the camps offered are:

OIT Final Thoughts Overall I think that OIT plays an important role in our

community, schools, and families partnerships. OIT provides several games, and community ED

classes for the community and families to attend. OIT also provides a couple of days were they

welcome the middle schools and high schools students to come to the campus and they get to take part in some classes that are offered at OIT.

I can’t wait to see what OIT will provide Klamath Falls with in the future.
