Our program creates
opportunities for young women to earn college scholarship
money while developing
confidence and improving their
public speaking skills. The Princess-Ambassadors share the
nutritional benefits of dairy
products to students and consumers across the state of
Oregon.
Interested in joining?
You must be at least 17 to 23 years of age as
of June 1, AND fulfilled one of the following requirements:
4-H or FFA member involved with a
dairy cattle project.
You, and/or your parent, are employed
full-time in milk processing or allied
industry.
Daughter of any person employed
full-time on an operating dairy farm.
In addition, you must be single and have never been married or had children; and if
not living at home, you must not be currently cohabitating.
What We Do
Dairy Princess-Ambassadors promotes dairy products through classroom presentations, participation in county fairs, community events, summer camps,
school assemblies, State Fair and much more.
Fun workshops in public speaking, etiquette,
poise and nutrition.

Our story
Since 1959, the Oregon Dairy Women’s Dairy Princess Ambassador Program has served as the premier advocate for the Oregon Dairy Industry
in collaboration with the Oregon Dairy Farmers Association and the Oregon Dairy Nutrition Council. The ODW award scholarships and provides financial support to 4-H and FFA
programs, Agriculture in the Classroom, Ag Fest, Summer Ag Institute, Adopt-a-Farmer and
judging teams.

Oregon Dairy Women (ODW) is an all volunteer, non-profit organization, with the
main objective to promote the dairy industry. The ODW mission is to promote greater use of all dairy products through
outreach and educational programs..
