FROM JEFF DAVIS: I want to personally thank everyone that helped with this year’s Vacation Bible School! We had 64 children attend this year, and things ran smooth all week long. We had the Florida Aquarium here, a bounce house inside the sanctuary, and a representative from Keeping Polk County Beautiful taught us about how to keep God’s precious gift (our planet) beautiful. God provided a lot of great things for us this year, and we couldn’t have done it without the super help of the people who gave their money, time, and energy. Thank you again for another incredible year!

AUDIO/VISUAL TECH If you were a fan of the show Lost...this is the perfect volunteer opportunity for you! Volunteers to assist in pushing the button inside the special station located at the rear of the sanctuary are needed on Sunday mornings. If there are not enough people to push the button, it is unclear what the full extent of problems that could arise are, but a lack of control over the sound and slides for the projection screen are sure to be one effect. Only limited computer experience is necessary & training is provided. Contact Clint or Deborah Haldane, or Lynn Schindler, for more information on joining this project. EXPERT PHONE HANDLER Our Secretary is in need of someone with limber wrists and cat-like reflexes to help answer the phones on Mondays & Fridays, anytime between 10:00am and 2:00pm. Interested? Contact Amanda in the church office, [email protected]. USHER If you think you have the moves to be a substitute or regular usher (or greeter), please email Lynn, [email protected], or contact her through the Church office, (863)646-3121.
