PRELUDE Tony Mercer
ANNOUNCEMENTS Jeff Davis CALL TO WORSHIP Shaun Hartsell
∆ OPENING HYMN The Blood Will Never Lose Its Power #334
RECONNECTING TO GOD Linda Hudson Lord God, we admit we fall short of the Christ-like ideal. We abandon the single mothers and the widows. We ignore the silent cries of the overburdened moms among us. We turn our ears from the motherly advice we need. We cast our own wounds from less-than-perfect mothers onto our children. Jesus, heal and forgive us, that all mothers may feels supported and loved because you first loved us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Kung Fu P
Registration for our annual week-long Vacation Bible School
is now underway...Sunday, June 24th, we will
kick-off our Pixar themed VBS and end the week on
Thursday, June 28th. For each of the five days, VBS will run
from 6:00pm-8:30pm, with dinner from 6:00pm-6:30pm, and
VBS to follow. All children, age four through the 5th grade are
invited to participate; children do not have to attend PCH to
attend VBS. Items needed for VBS are on the “Wish List” in
today’s bulletin. Desire to donate or volunteer for this event?
Contact Jeff Davis for opportunities to serve or to register!
VBS
Starting June, 13th, all men (ages 16 - 100) of PCH& their friends are invited and encouraged to join us on Wednesday evenings, from
6:00pm - 8:00pm, for bocce, food, and fellowship! Bocce is Italian
lawn/street bowling, and you do not need to know how to play to participate—plenty of instruction and support will be provided. You
will need to sign-up by Monday of each week, to ensure we have
enough food for all attending. A love offering will be requested to cover the cost of food. No one is too old to play or participate in
Beef & Bocce; just bring the body, good stories (truthfulness is
optional) and appetite, and we will supply everything else! For more information, contact Dan: [email protected].
SUMMER MEN’S MINISTRY
Where’s the Beef?
Give your summer a SPIKE by joining the *new* PCH
volleyball ministry on Wednesday evenings, starting June
13th. The ministry will meet from 6:30pm-8:00pm. A veggie
theme dinner will SET the night: veggie soup, taco bar, salad
bar, and baked potato bar are just a few of the meals suggested
for the menu. Participants will DIG up on ingredient to con-
tribute for each night’s themed meal. Men & women of PCH,
BUMP all your plans and join us for a VOLLEY! Contact
Dixie Davis for more info: [email protected]

NURSERY VOLUNTEERS Volunteers are needed to assist in the nursery on Sunday mornings from 10:00am - 12:00pm. Please contact Jeff Davis: (863)646-3121 or [email protected] AUDIO/VISUAL TECH If you were a fan of the show Lost...this is the perfect volunteer opportunity for you! Volunteers to assist in pushing the button inside the special station located at the rear of the sanctuary are needed on Sunday mornings. If there are not enough people to push the button, it is unclear what the full extent of problems that could arise are, but a lack of control over the sound and slides for the projection screen are sure to be one effect. Only limited computer experience is necessary & training is provided. Contact Clint or Deborah Haldane, or Lynn Schindler, for more information on joining this project. EXPERT PHONE HANDLER Our Secretary is in need of someone with limber wrists and cat-like reflexes to help answer the phones on Mondays & Fridays, anytime between 10:00am and 2:00pm. Interested? Contact Amanda in the church office, [email protected].
