He has been working “long distance” off/on as he is available to assist his parents in Richland who are dealing with health issues. He recently shared his prayer requests: “Please, then, be praying for me. Yes, pray that God gives grace, mercy, and comfort to my parents amid their health struggles, and guidance and provision for their next steps; and yes, pray for strength and encouragement for me, both for the day-to-day responsibilities, and that my own next steps get ordered so that I can make the right decisions at the right time. But above all, pray that God accomplishes His good work in us, and that our hearts stay tuned to His, and that His glory be our greatest joy.” Note: If you are admitted into the hospital, the Deacons would like to call on you. Visiting Missionaries: The Holms (Malawi) Our missionaries in Malawi (East Africa), Tyler and Rochelle Holm, are visiting West Side through Sept. 10. They serve by working in theological education and in developing water resources. Tyler and Rochelle received their call for missionary work while worshipping and serving at West Side.

Come hear about their ministry on Sun., July 22, as they share during the worship services (9:00 & 11:00 am). You are also invited to an Open House from 2:00-5:00 pm at Jerry & Marion Holm’s house (153 Greenwood Dr-Richland). Come meet and talk with this lovely couple and their daughter, Mphatso.

Next Week is VBS Sunday Join us for a special VBS Sunday on July 15 during our 9:00 am worship service. Help us welcome VBS kids and their families to West Side! We will celebrate how God moved in our hearts during our Shipwrecked VBS (July 9-13) week. Kids and VBS leaders will share songs, Bible truths, and their experiences from the week including a video of all the fun. There will be bounce houses and sno-cones after the service for kids to enjoy! Thank you for your prayers and support for VBS: that God will draw many closer to Him through VBS week.
