Prayers & Praises

Join the Community Prayer Group, Tuesday 7pmSo out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to man to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name. RSV 2:19

Our God is alive...kneel before Him in prayer.

Kathleen Malloy’s daughter Kim has returned home to seek help in her life. Brian and Matthew Malloy have been ministering to her and blessing their parents with their knowledge. We offer Praise and Thanksgiving to the Father.

Keith and Karen Whitney would like prayers for their daughter, Kirsten, who is in her last 4 to 5 weeks of pregnancy. We need prayers of encouragement and prayers for a healthy “Ellie.” Hold her close.

Jeff Matteson (of Psalom) is requesting prayer on his behalf regarding a new direction in service to Jesus Christ and His body. He is currently in touch with the Southern Hills Church of Christ in Buda Texas near Austin. Please pray for him to know God’s will and direction for service.

Ginny Fuller Alls has asked for prayer for wisdom and discernment in coming to a decision on an offer made for the Fuller Ranch.

Jim Matthews will be going into the hospital to receive Dialysis for his kidney. He will receive treatment 3 times a week. Hold Jim in prayer for healing.

Mark Malloy’s friend, Mark Carlson, is in need of our prayers for himself, family and his Father. Mark just lost his mother and now he

and family members are ministering to his father who has cancer and is confined to a hospital bed at home. His father’s pain is increasing and the cancer has spread to the liver. Now Mark himself is dealing with gallstones that are very painful. Strong prayers are needed here.

Please continue to keep Nick Nicholson’s grandson in prayer as he has serious complications with his diabetes. Also Nick’s daughter, Jean, needs prayers for healing after receiving 2 stents for her heart.

Debbie Parrot needs prayers for healing due to back pain. Lift her up!

Prayers of encouragement and healing for our brothers and sisters with cancer. Betty Robertson, Beverly Wright, Myrla Baumann, Brad Walden, Jim Linley, Pamela and Anna.

Keep our elderly in your daily prayers. Syble Lampkins, Vesta Thompson, Patsy and Don Lindsey, Berniece Johnston, Nick and Polly Nicholson, Mabel Smith, Margaret Haney, Barbara Washington, John and Karina Robinson.

Pray for the life of the church...COME, LET US ALL UNITE TO SING, GOD IS LOVE.

A Whole Lot Goin’ On at the Church This Week!

Lots of action here this week! Tuesday’s Temple Fall Fashion Show & luncheon put on by Damon & Drapers attracted over 70 ladies including our Amie Wood and Linda Romano. This fund-raiser to support their Torah School and Music programs had Temple members doing the modeling including two beautiful ladies in their 90’s!

On Thursday 30 were here for the monthly ORT luncheon with Deputy Sean Britt discussing how to prevent identity theft and what to do about it if it happens.

Friday morning, a crew sent and paid for by Southern California Edison replaced many of our light bulbs with energy efficient tubes and digital ballasts. If the lighting seems a little brighter in the building, you’re right, it is!

Last night was MOVIE NIGHT with a nice-sized crowd sharing the building with an NA meeting. Busy Busy!
