ORDINANCE NO. 015, s. 1999

AN ORDINANCE DECLARING EVERY DECEMBER 19-23 AS LINGGO NG KABATAAN WEEK IN THIS MUNICIPALITY.

Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Bayan of Ragay, Camarines Sur that -

SECTION I - SCOPE. This ordinance shall involve the participation of every youth in the Barangay in coordination with the Pederasyon ng Sangguniang Kabataan at all levels conduct an annual activity to be known as the Linggo ng Kabataan starting from the 19th day to 23rd of December every year.

SECTION II - Types of Activities. The Federation ng Sangguniang Kabataan shall conduct the following activities:

a) Commemoration of young Filipino heroes who made significant contribution to the development of the country or the locality.

b) Recognition and awarding of outstanding youth organization for their achievement or contribution to development.

c) Awareness campaign on environmental issues, sports festival and competition, cultural festivals, art, historical places and such other youth oriented activities as may be deemed relevant.

d) Parade ng Kabataan

SECTION III - FUNDING. Sport development with counterpart of Sangguniang Kabataan in the Barangay level.

SECTION IV - REPEALING CLAUSE. Any ordinance or part of an ordinances inconsistent with the provision of this ordinance is hereby repealed.

SECTION V - EFFECTIVITY. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.

UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED: By order of the Sangguniang Bayan of Ragay, Camarines Sur this 19th day of April, 1999.
