A Message from our President 2012 has been a great year for the Orange Blossom Miniature Horse Club. In only three short years of existence we have met one of our main goals. We have put the fun back into showing miniature horses in Florida. We realize that too much time, effort, and money goes into what is a hobby for most of us for it not to be enjoyable. If it is not fun most of us will find an-other way to spend our time and money. I would like to take this opportunity to say a big “Thank You” to all that have shown with us and supported our club. Our club membership has now grown to near One hundred members and enthusiasm is at an all time high. Many of our members are here at “Nationals” or “Worlds” and I am sure that they will represent themselves, our club and Florida well. We invite you to browse through this publication and acquaint yourselves with our members and the quality horses we have to offer. I am sure that many of the farm names are familiar to you as our members own many, many National and World titles. Please consider one or more of our farms when making your next purchase or choosing a trainer. We also invite you to make plans to visit beautiful Central Florida and the horse capital of the world, Ocala, Fl, where our club is based and holds its shows. All shows are at the South-eastern Livestock Pavilion which features 226 stalls and the arena all under one roof, which make the facility an exhibitor favorite. The planning for our 2013 show season is well under way with the dates being April 20th and 21th for our spring AMHR/AMHA show and June 14th 15th and 16th for our summer show. Our big June “Fun in the Sun” show has proven to be the larg-est show held in Florida in many years. We believe this show is the greatest value in the minia-ture horse show industry today. Our low, low flat fee of Three Hundred Dollars allows an indi-vidual or trainer to show their entire show string in an unlimited number of classes. We also offer low, one horse/ one exhibitor, fees for those not wishing to take advantage of our flat rate. As the saying goes, “If you want to be the best, you have to beat the best”.
