Spotlight Building ORMB with Focus on Design Thinking

Design is not how it looks, but how it works.

These words were said by one who had a great eye for detail and aesthetics, keen on tech innovation, couldn t stand failure in his team, and drove a Mercedes, world famous, adored by many, and died at an age of 56 due to cancer. Mr. Steve Jobs.

Design is a very vague and broad term. Many understand that design is all about fonts, color shades, and layout of images. In reality, there are different disciplines of designs. On one side of the spectrum we have interaction design, which deals in how we, humans, interact with a computer or gadgets. On other side, we have user experience design, which is more about giving different set of users the same top notch product experience. Somewhere between that spectrums we have graphic design, which specializes in those fancy illustrations we see on social media. Though different disciplines but all focus on one idea of solving user’s pain points at different levels.

We realized the same with ORMB and analyzed that being feature rich is not enough, we also have to make it more user friendly. Moreover, being B2B, our product features already involve complex functionalities requiring complex decision making. Mix with a complex design and we have perfect recipe for disaster. Understanding this, we design product using various techniques like visual cues, muscle memory, reducing user’s cognitive load, optimizing user journeys, etc. for a truck load of improvements.

The core idea is to empower the users to use the product intuitively and focus on right business decisions instead of spending time and energy to understand the layout or navigation. This helps to break down each component of a feature to a granular level and optimize the entire workflow.

We aim to provide a no brainer experience in terms of UI/ UX and general product interaction making it one of our USPs. Integrating this new design experience with some cutting edge tech like AI/ML we deliver a rock solid product to cater all your banking business needs.
