TRIDENT Oracle Position Tutorial 1. General rule: The purpose of Position is to help you to exchange the troops you can build with the troops you cannot buildyet,orhardtobuild.So,it'soptional,andnotrecommendedifyoucannotbuildtroops.Keep doing Position too much will lead to losing all of your troops. The process of hitting Position to get rewards will be short in your first time playing, but will take really longtimelikedays,weeksandevenmonthsofcontinuouslybuildingtroops.Tohelpyoukeepyour patientwhiledoingPosition,IcreatedthefileOraclePositionTracking.xls(locatedinFileSectionas well), to help you track all you troops lost in Position. Keep throwing troops to lower down the strength ofXercesinPositions,savethoseuntilGlobalquest,thenfinishthemandgetGPs,aswellasglobal quest rewards and reward for Position at the same time. 2. Using OraclePositionTracking.xls This tutorial will help you step by step understanding how to use the file to track your troops lost, then estimate the time when you can get next reward. After you understand the rule of Position, you can find many ways to do in Position. Firstof all, you need to getthe record of your lastbig reward. If you don'thavethat, don'tworry, just practicetotrackyourlostfirst,andkeepbuildingtroopsandwaituntilthatrewardcomingout.Then start to work on this worksheet. This is my last big reward: Don't see that big and rush onto Position and blindly do it. I built 4 layers of troops from light to calvary all day for months, and revive agemaalso to speed up the process of reward coming. As all knew, we are in a big fight with King Sparta, so I want to get the big reward in Defense. So, I will sacrificeabigamountofOffensetroops.Butinregularcondition,youcandothewayyouwantto improve your troops. First of all, I want to destroy the troops I built and want them die first. TRIDENT Now, I put them in the record: SoIcanseeIdepositedabout2.99 milresourceswhereasmylastrewardis about32.6milresources. Such a long road ahead. Keep hitting more. I recommend you to build a lot of light and heavy troops to do. Because I can revive troops when I need, and my troops is huge, so I can afford the loss to throws all kind of troops. But for regular condition, keep patient and build more to hit. And keep recording my lost: TRIDENT Now, I deposited 8.2 mil resources. Still a long way ahead. And next, of course I know no reward, but I have to keep hitting to "deposit". And keep recording: Now, I deposited 17.7 mil resources. And keep hitting more: TRIDENT If you're not well-prepare, you may reach to the situation like this when all your troops died (this case is Offense troops), and still no reward coming out. Then, you're in really trouble. So, even when doing Position, you have to save enough troops to do raiding, keep having resources for you to build more. And I keep record my lost: Now, I deposited 28.7 mil resources comparing to last reward of 32.6mil. Almost get there, now I need to double check that I will have enough deposit to get reward in next hit, and I expect it in Defensive side. TRIDENT I choose to hit Defense Position level 85, its average strength is 877000. But because it has a lot of Xerces calvaries, while I have lots of M.Peltast and Thureophoros, so I will hit it and need less strength than required. And let's check the amount I expected to use. I still have most of Defense on Pantheon, so I only try to use a limited amount to finish the Position without recall any troops from Pantheon. Let's check: I will expect to use those amount of Defense to finish the last hit. It requires 7.6 mil resources, while I deposited 28.7 mil resources. So the total deposited will be about 36.3 mil resources, more than the reward last time of 32.6mil. I'm confident with next reward coming out. Or sometimes it stuck, and just 1 more hit, then you will get it. Ok, go and get it done: TRIDENT Putting back this reward to check, and its value is as 37.3 mil resources, more than the amount I put in as 36.3 mil. So I know that no more reward coming out next. And I stop here, build troops and wait for next global quest. If you check and see that your reward is smaller than your deposit, then there will be anotherrewardcomingout.Doingawhileandtrackingyourloss,youmayfindmanystrategiestodo with Position.
