Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 11g – Release

11.1.1.5.0 delivers new enhancements making the Oracle BI 11g

platform easier to use, more functional, and better integrated with

enterprise applications.

New Features

• Oracle Business Intelligence Mobile. Oracle Business Intelligence Mobile

provides support to view, analyze and act on Oracle Business Intelligence

11g content on supported mobile devices such as Apple iPhone and Apple

iPad. Using Oracle Business Intelligence Mobile, users can view, analyze and

act on all their existing reports, ad hoc query and analysis, OLAP,

dashboards, scorecards, alerts and notifications on the go and from the

convenience of their mobile devices. Available as a downloadable application

from the Apple Applications store, Oracle Business Intelligence Mobile is

easy to setup, secure and optimizes the presentation of the BI content for

mobile devices.

• Certified with Oracle Business Intelligence Applications Release 7.9.6.3.

Oracle Business Intelligence 11g Enterprise Edition – Release 11.1.1.5.0 is

certified with Oracle BI Applications Release 7.9.6.3, providing BI

Applications customers with an enhanced end user experience, better

manageability and mobile support.

• Support for new data sources and platforms. Oracle Business Intelligence

11g adds support for new data sources including Oracle OLAP, SAP BW,

Microsoft Analysis Services, Oracle TimesTen and Oracle RetekRPAS. The

enhanced support includes better metadata/data access, analysis, and ability

to incrementally import metadata. Platform support includes support for

Solaris 10, Safari 4.x/5.x, WebCenter and JDeveloper 11.1.1.4+, Oracle

Directory Server 11.1.1.3+ and Microsoft Office 2010.

• Ease of Use. Enhancements include simpler installation, upgrades, easier

metadata modeling, enhanced sample applications content and a number of

performance and usability enhancements related to BI Server, BI Publisher,

and Scorecard and Strategy Management.

• Easy to integrate. Enhancements include easier, faster and simpler

integration with Oracle Real Time Decisions (RTD) and Oracle Essbase.
