Challenge: Configure Oracle9iAS Portal to utilize Netegrity for authentication on Windows 2000
Solution:– Implement IIS and Oracle Reverse Proxy– Utilize standard Oracle9iAS Single Sign-On
features to catch Netegrity authentication
Pixel Perfect Perfection
Former site was ColdFusion– Site design took 1 year to be approved – no
design changes allowed– Site was largely static – 1 person maintained with
help of outsourcing vendor– User Interface Templates
Migration to Portal intended to speed content delivery and ease site management
– Utilizing Custom Item Types to ensure consistency and ease development
