Do you own several Deb Tucker tools? Have you forgotten how to use them? Diane will be doing a monthly class called Block Busters that will help you become reaquainted with your tools and the techniques for using them. All the blocks will finish at 12” so eventually you will be able to put them together as a quilt or tablerunners. You can use fabrics from your stash or perhaps new fabrics that coordinate. Either way this should be a fun time using the tools that most of you already own. For the beginner and beyond.

This is a great table runner and placemats pattern that can be made with any fabrics - Christmas, Spring, Summer, Winter or the colors of your dining room. This set would also make a great gift. Come join Jill for this class and be on your way to getting ready for fall.
Thursday Night Open SewThursday, August 18th, 4:00 - 9:00Cost: $5.00
Several people have asked about having an Open Sew time in the evening for those unfortunate people who haven’t been able to retire yet. So...at least for January through August we have scheduled Open Sew on the 3rd Thursday of the month. So grab your quilting buddies and plan an evening of fun quilting. Don’t forget to pack something for your dinner or perhaps you will want to order out. Please remember that Open Sew means that you are working on your own project and that no instructions will be provided.
Did you miss the Syracuse AQS Quilt Show? We thought we would set up a little of our booth from the show here at Sew Nice. So when you stop in in the near future you will see several of the quilts that we had displayed in our Studio 180 Design/Sew Nice booth and the kits that we have available to make these quilts. As a special deal for our Sew Nice customers (we didn’t do this at the show), if you buy any kit we will discount the tool(s) needed to make that quilt 10%. We have kits for table runners. throws and quilts.

Do you have a spot in your house that could use a little brightness? This is the perfect wallhanging to do that. This wallhanging finishes at 32” x 42” with the borders or you could leave the borders off and have a 32” square quilt. This is a great project to expand your skills with your Tucker Trimmer. And this would make a great gift for that person in your life who works in an office. For the beginner and beyond.

Are you looking for a fun project? How about making a srub top and pants as a lounge around outfit or PJ’s or a new outfit for the favorite nurse in your life. We have many fun fabrics for this project. Diane made 4 of these tops on vacation and as she says, “If I can sew them anyone can!” (Remember Diane always says she doesn’t sew, she only quilts.) The tops do make a great summer top and making them out of 100% cotton makes them cooler than tops made out of blended fabrics. For the beginner and beyond.
