What is Urban?

Therefore, what is “urbanization”?

a) When landscapes increasingly display characteristics of human land use.

b) When previously untouched countryside is taken up by housing, transport, industry etc…

c) When an increasing proportion of a regions population move to towns and cities.

d) When the environmental quality of a location decreases substantially.

e) When cities and towns expand outwards into the countryside.
