Opcal Borehole Imaging probe OPTV 52 & OPTV 52G A precision wide angle lens and a CMOS camera assembly permits a high definion video image of the borehole wall to be captured in a variety of horizontal and vercal resoluons. The resulng image is digised in the sonde and combined with the orientaon data for transmission to the surface. The orientated, unrolled image log, whether as a standalone product or when forming the basis of a detailed structural interpretaon, proves immensely useful in a wide variety of applicaons.
