Re- Pairing Bluetooth Devices

UQuick Guide System 1200- Re-pairing Bluetooth Devices This guide is designed to show the procedure to fix the situation where the Bluetooth link between the RX controller and the ATX1230 antenna is lost (the number 1 under the icon on the RX1250 is white, and on the ATX1230 the BT light is green). It involves exiting the SmartWorx application and editing the settings within the Bluetooth manager in the Windows operating system, and it is recommended that the touch screen is switched on. To do this within SmartWorx press the USER key, then F2 (CONF), 3 General Settings, 5 Display, Beeps and Text, and ensure touch screen is ON.

Step Instruction Screenshots

1 From the Main Menu, press Shift then F5 (MINIM).

2

Tap the Windows icon at the bottom left of the screen, then Settings/Control Panel.

3 Double tap on the Bluetooth Device Properties icon.

The following window will appear. On the Trusted side will be a device labelled as Unknown(Some figures), as well as potentially others if you are using a Bluetooth link to a mobile phone, for example. Highlight the Unknown device. This will be your ATX1230. Tap on the arrow button pointing left, to the right of the Scan Device button. This will move the device to the Untrusted side.

5

Tap on the OK button in the top right of the window, then close the Control Panel window. You can now restore SmartWorx by tapping on the SmartWorx text to the right of the Windows icon, or by double tapping on the shortcut icon.

After a few seconds, an authentication request window will appear. Type in four zeros (0000) and press the red Enter button. After a few seconds the number 1 under the symbol should go from white to black, and the BT light on the ATX1230 should turn blue, then start blinking. This shows your Bluetooth link is now functioning.
