document!are!merely!suggestions!that!could,!if!used!as!part!of!effective!planning,!enhance,!support!and!

challenge!the!learner!and!provide!additional!opportunities!for!teacher!assessment!and!recording!evidence.!!

Planning!should!be!appropriate!to!the!developmental!needs!of!the!learner!and!in!context!to!the!learning.!

The&focus&should&always&be&on&the&learning&not&on&the&apps.!These!apps!have!been!selected!because!they!encourage!creativity!and!because!many!are!openFended!therefore!can!be!used!across!a!variety!of!areas!of!

learning!and!with!children!at!different!stages!of!development!and!in!different!languages.!Some!apps!are!

suitable!to!be!used!throughout!the!Foundation!Phase,!but!can!still!show!progression.!

iPads!can!be!used!in!focused!directed!tasks!but!also!provide!opportunities!to!reinforce!and!extend!learning!

in!the!enhanced!and!continuous!provision.!They!can!be!used!to!support!an!individual!child’s!learning,!can!
