O.P.L. Dwelling Fire Policy Input
After inputting your id and password on the Travelers Secured System Logon screen, the Agent HQ Home Page will display.
Access ATLAS3 Auto & Home in three ways 1) Double-click on ATLAS3 – Customer Service Gateway from the Agent HQ Home Page
2) Click on ATLAS3 – Customer Service Gateway from the navigation tree. 3) Double-click on ATLAS3 – Customer Service Gateway from the Tools & Systems tab

To add a new customer
Search Criteria defaults to “Policy Number” select “Name” from the drop-down list.
Input Last Name, State, Zip Code, & click the Search button.
On a new customer, this message will
appear.

Input the customer’s First Name, Middle Initial, & Suffix if applicable.
Customer Last Name will pre-fill from the customer search and may be modified if necessary.
An additional name may be input if needed.
Input the customer’s mailing address click one of the action buttons labeled
Process Auto/Homeowners Account List Return to Customer Selection
“Process Auto/Homeowners” to add the customer
and go right into ATLAS3
“Account List” to add the customer and then process
Other Property Lines
“Return to Customer Selection” to add the
customer and then return to the Customer
Selection page.

If you clicked “Account List” on a new customer, or an existing
customer with no issued policies, this message will appear.
From the navigation on the left side of the screen, select
ATLAS3 Other Property Lines to process PAF, PLUS & Homesaver
You may also select ATLAS3 Auto/Homeowners

To search for an existing customer
Search Criteria drop-down list defaults to “Policy Number”. If you know the customer’s policy number, input it and click the Account List button.
From the Search Criteria drop-down list, you may also select “Name”. Input Last Name, State, Zip Code, & click the Search button.
From the Search Criteria drop-down list, you may also select “ABS Number”. Input the 9-digit billing account number & click the Search button.
Do not select the Search Criteria CCF Number. The Common Customer File Number search is not available to agents.

If this is a new customer, the program will proceed to the Online Quoting Customer Information screen.
If this is an existing customer, the Customer Name Index will appear. Input the customer number in the SELECTION: field and press FORWARD.

• Choose Line of Business Type of “Dwelling Fire/Homesaver” from the Line of Business drop down list.
• Location of Property/Residence address different than mailing address? (Y/N)
If Y, indicate Location State:__
If this is a rental location you MUST input “Y” and indicate the state (even if it’s the same as the mailing address). This also helps retain the residence address information during the issuance process.
• Indicate other Travelers policies for cross-referencing. Enter both an “X” next to the corresponding line of business and the policy # in the fields below.

• Enter the Effective Date of the policy.
• Leave Rate Date field blank unless instructed to do otherwise.
• Answer Y or N to the City Limits question and enter the county name.

• Indicate the appropriate indicator for the risk: (H)ome form - owner occupied dwellings. (R)ental homes - tenant occupied dwellings. (C)ondominium homes - owner occupied condos. Co(N)dominium Rental – tenant occupied condos. (A)partment – owner occupied apartments or dwellings.
• When processing a Rewrite, enter the first year the customer became insured with Travelers.
• Feet To Fire Hydrant only allows up to 1000 feet. If there is no hydrant enter 1001.
• Miles to fire station should be input in whole miles (i.e. 1 mile = 01)

• The Policy From input can be: 1 – Basic 2 – Broad 3 – Special
Remember that all condominium policies must be input as a DP2.
• Has a replacement cost estimate been completed (Y/N) is mandatory. If yes, which method was used. If Marshall Swift Boech choose RCT (MSB Method). If anything else, choose Other.

• You must enter an Insurance Score and the Insurance Source. In addition, for Choicepoint users, you must enter the 4 reasons codes that correspond to the score. For help on the Ins Score and Ins. Source fields, place your cursor on the first character of the field and then Press F1.
• If additional other structures (endorsement HO-48 or HO-40) is needed, mark “Y”. This will generate an additional screen.
• If the dwelling is over 25 years old, the Modernization Section of the ACORD application must be completed.

• If it was indicated that there have been losses in the past 3 years, this screen will display to gather information regarding these losses.
• If the loss was paid by a company other than Travelers, enter an “X” in the TIC Field and only the following information is required: Loss Date, Amount and Cause.

• If it was indicated on the Underwriting Information Screen that any systems have been updated, this screen will display to gather information regarding the updates. A Home Renovation Supplement should accompany the new business application and be retained in your file.
• PLEASE NOTE: When updating the electrical system you need to also input the # of amps to avoid a referral to the business center. If the number of amps is not input, the system automatically assumes the amps are less than 100.

• North Carolina Beach and Coastal Exposures: Beach zones 05 & 06, Coastal zones 42 & 43.
• The Wind Plan question will pre-fill with a “Y” for all forms.
• Depending on the miles to the seacoast, the Wind Hail exclusion question will require a “Y” or “N” answer. Please refer to your underwriting guidelines for instructions on how this should be answered..
• The Wind Hail exclusion questions will automatically pre-fill “Y” for zones 5 & 6.

• The Amount of Insurance is the Coverage A limit on a homeowner policy form and the Personal Property is the Coverage C amount on a Condominium or Apartment policy. Depending on the policy form you choose, remember you can have both coverages.
• Enter the desired deductible. For beach/coastal policies refer to your underwriting guidelines.
• The extended coverage and V&MM is available for a DP 1 policy only. For DP1A - no additional action is necessary For DP1B – place an “X” in Extended Coverage. For DP1C – place an “X” in V&MM.
• Special Coverage, Permitted Incidental Occupancies and Ordinance of Law are not applicable in NC.

• The Price Selection Information screen will indicate whether or not the policy qualifies for the requested pricing program.
• If the policy qualifies, no additional input is necessary on this screen. Verify the requested company is selected and press FORWARD.
• If the policy does not qualify, the system will state the reason(s) on the top portion of the screen. Refer/Issue will be automatically “x”ed. Make a Notepad entry to the underwriter by clicking on the Notepad button at the bottom of the screen.

• Information on the cost and savings benefits of E.F.T. policy billing is displayed. To print this information, click the Print button. To close the pop-up window, click the Close button.
• This screen is the Dwelling Fire Quotation Screen. If will give the total annual premium along with each individual coverage and premium.

• The Billing Information Screen gathers information regarding down payments, who should be billed, linking of accounts, etc.
• To Link this policy with others, place the nine-digit account bill # in the Account Billing Number field. This will produce only 1 bill for all policies on the account, therefore charging only one service charge.
• On Retail accounts, to have the customer’s payments automatically withdrawn from the checking/savings account, place an “X’” next to EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer). This will produce another screen to enter information regarding the customer’s bank, checking/savings account #, etc. An EFT Authorization form should be retained in file.

• The system automatically assigns the policy number. Please make a note of the policy number.
• To issue the policy or Refer/Issue the risk, enter a “Y”.
• If you receive download from the Travelers, for certain vendor systems, you should complete the Agency ID for Insured with your vendor system client ID. Please check with your vendor to determine if this is necessary for download.

• Dwelling Fire policies will issue overnight. The status of the dwelling fire policy will show PEND ISSUE on this page. When the policy issues, the status will change to ISSUED.
