Stitching off-line is placed on trolleys

Stitched garments are shifted to cropping / excess thread trimming area where machine-based trimming is done

Trimmed garments are shifted to Steam-Pressing room

Garments are carefully pressed and stacked

Pressed garments are shifted to general checking storage

Garments are counted and given to Checkers for 100% checking for fabric,sewing and print faults

Checking stations are marked by sizes for a quick size verification

Based upon inspection, garments are sub-divided into fresh, alter , spot/stain and reject categories and placed separately

Fresh garments are moved forward in the form of 30 Pcs/ bundle, Alter pcs sent to sewing and stain/spot garments are sent for spot/stain cleaning Section.

On the 30 pcs. Bundle of fresh garments, an approx. AQL2.5 is employed, 7 pcs. are checked at random, if 2 major faults are found, the bundle is returned to the related general checker. Reports are maintained and Checkers performance is monitored.

Fresh pieces are forwarded to a designated person who verifies the garment size from care label and main label.

Size-wise separation is carried out on the basis of print and color .

Separate racks are allocated for every color,print and size, where they are placed .

QA department provides the customer approved hangtags for every color, print and size .These hang tags are checked and verified 100% before issuing to the finishing dept.

One color, one size, one print garments are taken out of the trolleys , and approved hang-tags are issued for attaching to the garments,according to approved hang-tag placement.

Hang-tag attached garments are folded to a fixed size of 11”wide x 14” high,using a folding template .

The folded garments are cleaned from any dust, put into individual poly bag and poly bag is tapped.

These individually poly-bagged garments are separately placed color, print and size wise, in racks.

QA department forwards the approved packaging information for hang tags ratio packing, and carton packing .

According to the approved packaging information from QA department, the finished garments are taken-out from racks and placed onto a wide table according to size ratio for every color and print.

A QA individual comes and verifies the hang-tag, size wise ratio packing and approves to be put into a master poly-bag.

QA department provides the carton packing information according to packing list .According to this, the master poly bags are put into carton and cartons are tapped and marked outside for color and PO information.

The cartons are placed color and PO-wise. A QA packaging audit is done to verify the content of the carton according to PO .

The approved cartons are then allowed to get the approved shipping marks .

The cartons are then moved to the ware-house, where they are stacked according to color and PO wise .

As soon as the 25% of the required cartons are ready for a particular PO, the QA department conducts an internal 2.5 AQL quality Audit .In case of a pass audit, the goods are declared ready for external / customer audit. Once 100% cartons are passed by internal QA audit, the shipment is offered for external or customer audit.
