Open the packing box and check if main body and all the standard accessories are put in the box.
Also, check any breakage or damage which might be taken place in transit.
If you find out any breakage or missing accessories, please inquire about the problem at the
service department.

5.3. EKG PAPER INSTALLATION
Open printer door by pulling the door cover
Insert EKG paper into its compartment and have recording side turned up.
Pull the end of paper up by the black driving roller and then close the door cover.

5. INSTALLATION
Please be sure following precautions for installing and use.
Operating temperature 10 ~ 40℃
Check the connecting status of power cord, patient cable for smooth using.
Don’t plug several cords in one electric outlet.
Please place main body on the plain spot.
Don’t use the outlet to which electric appliances causing noise and connected
Secure enough space for paper use.
5.1. POWER CODE CONNECTION
Connect main Body to AC power inlet by using power cable after plugging power cable to
power adaptor.
5.2. PATIENT LEAD CONNECTION
Connect patient cable to patient cable connector at the left side of main body.
Connect LIMB STRAP and CHEST ELECTRODES to patient cable

6.2. PANEL KEY
6.2.1. LEAD Key
1 or 3 lead is displayed on the LCD screen.
Press the “LEAD” key to select lead on the screen.
1 Lead Mode
⇨ I, II, III, aVR, aVL, aVF, V1, V2, V3, V4, V5, V6
3 Leads Mode
⇨First Group : I, II, III
⇨Second Group : aVR, aVL, aVF
⇨Third Group : V1, V2, V3
⇨ Fourth Group : V4, V5, V6
WARNING
You can not change the Lead mode or Setup menu during the printing
6.2.2. SENS Key
Select the sensitivity value by using the “SENS” key.
Sensitivity : 5mm/mV, 10mm/mV, 20mm/mV
6.2.3. SPEED Key
Select the waveform and printing speed by using “SPEED” key.
Speed : 12.5mm/sec, 25.0mm/sce, 50.0mm/sec
6.2.4. FREEZE Key
Press the key “FREEZE” to stop the display. The data acquisition will continue for 10seconds.

6. BCM-300 OPERATION
6.1. ATTACHMENT
When the patient is on stable condition, lay him down on the bed. Then spread EKG gel all
over the parts where the electrodes are to be attached.
Please confirm the EKG signal on LCD screen after attaching the patient electrodes to the
patient.
[Note]Please rub the skin with the gel, the alcohol or the water before measuring the patient.

6.3.1. Hospital Name
Select the Hospital Name Menu, and input the Hospital Name by using the numeric key.
To come back to the previous stage, press the “ENTER”Key.
6.3.2. Patient Name
Select the Patient Name Menu, and input the Patient Name by using the numeric key.
To come back to the previous stage, press the “ENTER”Key.
6.3.3. Patient Age
Select the Patient Age Menu, and input the Patient Age by using the numeric key.
To come back to the previous stage, press the “ENTER”Key.
6.3.4. Patient Sex
Select the Patient Sex, and select the sex type by using direction key.
Sex Type : Male/Female/-------
To come back to the previous stage, press the “ENTER”Key.
6.3.5. EKG Lead
Select the EKG Lead, and select Ekg Lead type by using direction key.
EKG Lead type : 1Lead or 3Leads
To come back to the previous stage, press the “ENTER”Key.
6.3.6. Ekg Base
Base 1 : Enables the first trace base line shift by using the is ▼ key or ▲ key.
Base 2 : Enables the second trace base line shift by using the ▼ key or ▲ key.
Base 3 : Enables the third trace base line shift by using the ▼ key or ▲ key.
To come back to the previous stage, press the “ENTER”Key.
6.3.7. Notch Filter
Select the Notch Filter, and select Notch Filter type by using direction key.
Notch Filter Type : 50Hz / 60Hz / Off
To come back to the previous stage, press the “ENTER”Key.

When the acquisition is finished(MEMORY), press the <- key or -> key to review the traces
memorized and you can print them by pressing the “PRINT KEY”.
In Freezing status, you can change the LEAD, SPEED and SENSITIVITY.
To restart, just push “FREEZE” key.
6.2.5. PRINT Key
Press the key “PRINT” to print out the EKG data on the screen. The printed data will continue
for 5seconds.
WARNING
You can not change the LEAD, SPEED or SENSITIVITY during the manual Printing.
▣ CAUTION
During the printing, Keep the patient on a stable condition.
6.3. OPERATION OF THE MENU
If you press the “MENU” key, the Information menu can be displayed on the screen.

6.4. POWER ON/OFF
To turn on/off the equipment, press the main switch which is placed on its right side.
If the battery LED lights on, you must immediately plug AC power cord connected the
equipment.
6.5. DEFAULT SET-UP VALUE
Traces display/print number : 3
Paper Speed : 25.0mm/sec
Sensitivity of recording : 10mm/mV
Traces Group : I, II, III
EKG Lead Mode : 3 Leads
Filters : 50Hz Notch Filter
LPF(LowPass Filter) : 40Hz
BaseLine Filter : ON
Muscle Filter : ON
Hardcopy frame length : 10 seconds
6.6. DIAGNOSIS
If you want DIAGNOSIS,
Press [▼] key
After displaying “DIAGNOSIS”on the screen, press “ PRINT”key.
After acquiring the EKG data for 10 seconds and processing for 20seconds, the results can be
printed out.

6.3.8. LPF(Lowpass Filter)
Select the LPF, and select Lowpass Filter type by using direction key.
Lowpass Filter can be selected to optimize ECG signal if ECG signal is still interfered.
Lowpass Filter Type : 40Hz / 100Hz /150Hz/ Off
To come back to the previous stage, press the “ENTER”Key.
6.3.9. BaseLine(Drift Filter)
Select the BaseLine, and select BaseLine Drift Filter type by using direction key.
BaseLine Drift is caused by patient breath.
BaseLine Filter Type : On/ Off
To come back to the previous stage, press the “ENTER”Key.
6.3.10. Muscle(EMG Filter)
Select the Muscle, and select Muscle Filter type by using direction key.
Muscle(EMG Signal) is induced from muscle and internal organs of the patient.
Muslce Filter Type : On/ Off
To come back to the previous stage, press the “ENTER”Key..
6.3.11. Date
Select the Date Menu, and input the Date by using the numeric key.
Display format : DD / MM / YY
Year : 2000 ~ 2099
Month : 01 ~ 12
Day : 01 ~ 31
To come back to the previous stage, press the “ENTER”Key.
6.3.12. Time
Select the Time Menu, and input the Time by using the numeric key.
Display format : HH / MM / SS
Hour : 00 ~ 23
Minute : 00 ~ 59
To come back to the previous stage, press the “ENTER”Key.
6.3.13. Exit
Used to go out from the Information Setup Menu.

7. Power Supply
7.1 Power Supply
BCM-300 can be operated by both AC and DC power. It can be operated while on the move by
getting the power from the internal battery which can be used again by recharging with the
AC/DC adapter.
7.1.1. AC/DC adapter power
In case battery power is running out, it is automatically recharged if you connect AC/DC adapter
to BCM-300 and to the outlet.
▣ CAUTION
AC/DC Adapter Aultkorea MW160-AKOP03F01 use only.
7.1.2. Battery power
The internal battery supplies the sources of electricity, if you separate the AC/DC adapter from
BCM-300.
Recharging period : Longer than 4 hours
Continuous Operation Time per full recharge : 2.5 hours
[Note]
In case battery power is running out, [ Low Bat.] will display at the bottom portion of the LCD
screen before about 10 minutes of the power shortage. And the power can be immediately
turned off according to the using parameter. Therefore, AC/DC power has to be supplied at
once.
7.1.3. Battery Specifications
BCM-300 uses a Li-ion 7.2V 4800mAh battery pack.
In case the battery gets damaged, it should be replaced.
Do not use the defective battery in the equipment.
It is automatically recharged, if the equipment is connected to the outlet through the AC/DC
adapter. It can not be recharged to be separated with the adapter.
[Note]
For preservation of environment, do not discard the batteries in an inappropriate places and
dispose in assigned place by the appropriate process after query at the Medical Electronics
Dept. of the hospital.

9. AFTER SERVICE
If there is any problem with the equipment, please follow the steps below :
Contact the below BIONIS Co.,Ltd. Service Department immediately, after gathering the
model name, serial Number, date of purchase and description of the problem.
First, try to solve the problem over the phone with the service department personnel.
If the problem can not be solved over the phone, the service personnel will visit and fix the
problem directly

22 WARRANTY
8. WARRANTY
BIONIS Co.,Ltd. guarantees all new equipment about faults in materials or workmanship for
a period of one year from date of shipment to purchaser. BIONIS Co.,Ltd. will, as sole and
exclusive remedy, at no charge, replace any such defective unit returned to its service
department within the designated warranty period.
This warranty applies only to failures from operating the equipment under conditions for which
it was designed. Warranted equipment is to be used only for intended and labeled indications
presented in the literature accompanying the equipment.
This warranty dose not cover loss or damage resulting from external cause, such as, but not
limited to fire, flood, windstorm, hail, lightening, earthquake, theft, misuse, or abuse. Any
damage caused by equipment relocation is not covered.
This warranty is void in cases where the product has been damaged as a result of an accident,
misuse, abuse, dropping, abnormal operating conditions, or attempts to modify or alter any part
or assembly.
BIONIS Co.,Ltd. will not be responsible for any loss, damage, or injure resulting from delay
in rendering service under this warranty.
BIONIS Co.,Ltd. will not be responsible to you for incidental or consequential damage of any
kind arising from connected with the use of its equipment.
Defective equipment shipped from you to BIONIS Co.,Ltd. must be packed in the
replacement cartons. Shipping and insurance costs for the return of the defective equipment
must be prepaid by you.
