Introduction

Overview

Inbuilding is an optimization tool which enables you to monitor mobile and system

performance and their quality, and diagnose problems inside of a building and

subway.

XCAP Analyzer helps detailed analysis of the data measured by XCAL Inbuilding tool.

You may analyze inbuilding data in all analysis types: Graph, Map, Message, Table,

CDF, and PDF.

Inbuilding Analysis

Model Creation

Before you begin inbuilding analysis, logging files for each floor should be merged asone inbuilding model.

When inbuilding measurement performed with more than one mobile station, the

model should be prepared for each mobile station.

Inbuilding Selection

Select building name (subway), floor (subway line), and point (base station) from

inbuilding selection combo box.

varies.

Options

Inbuilding tab in Options window helps you to set display options on map analysis

window.

1. Go to XCAP main Menu bar Tools Options, and select Inbuilding tab.

The detailed description of each item in Inbuilding tab is as follows.

Option Description

Method to Display Fixed

Point of I n-building

Data

Select fixed point sampling type among Average, Medium,

Median, Maximum, Minimum, First, Last.

Medium: Nearest data of average

Median: Middle data

Turning Point

Show measurement point on map analysis window.

Click Label color and Marker color button to change color

for point name and marker.

XCAP Inbuilding tool allows you to analyze inbuilding data in all analysis types:
